Strategic & Internal Communications
Effective communication starts with clarity and ends with connection. This portfolio showcases my work crafting executive-level and internal messaging that aligns stakeholders, builds trust, and reinforces institutional priorities. Whether translating strategy into accessible language or shaping the voice of leadership, these samples reflect my commitment to purposeful, audience-aware communication.

Executive communications: A thank you letter from the Dean to our donors - updated annually.

This and the following 6 pages are excerpts from a monthly internal newsletter I produced for the University Library, blending strategic messaging with staff-driven content. I authored executive communications on behalf of the Dean and curated departmental updates submitted by staff, revising them for clarity, tone, and consistency. The newsletter served as a key engagement tool—connecting rotating shift teams, reinforcing organizational priorities, and fostering a culture of transparency and recognition.

These are select excerpts from an Inclusive Communications Guide I authored for the library to foster more respectful, accessible, equitable, and community-centered dialogue. Designed to support both internal collaboration and public engagement, the guide offered practical strategies for inclusive language, tone, and messaging. It was grounded in our stated DEIA commitments and aimed to help staff translate those values into everyday communication—whether in meetings, emails, signage, or outreach materials.
